The Problem
In 1980, Africa had a 6% share of world trade. By 2002, this had dropped to just 2% despite the fact that Africa has 12% of the world’s population.
The Opportunity
If Africa could regain just an additional 1% share of global trade, it would earn $70 billion more in exports each year - more than three times what the region currently receives in international assistance.

| 100% Made in Africa Our shirts are “grower-to-sewer” African. Making a shirt has a lot of steps (farming, ginning, spinning, weaving, dyeing, sewing, and shipping) and keeping each and every process in Africa ensures that our impact is touching as many lives as possible. Building Communities
Our approach is to not only create trade, but also to strengthen the communities around our workers. From teaching farmers in Zambia the importance of growing organic cotton, to providing workers in Lesotho much-needed medications to combat HIV/AIDS, our reach goes well beyond the making of a t-shirt.

| Growth Since 2006
Since the first EDUN LIVE On Campus chapter was established in 2006 at Miami University, we’ve witnessed incredible passion from thousands of students. Their hard work and dedication has allowed us to grow to eight schools, be featured in dozens of publications, but most importantly, spread our social mission and move tens of thousands of shirts - expanding opportunities for sustainable employement and accelerating growth in Africa. |
